Francesco Pichi is a consultant of uveitis and retina in Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi  (UAE) and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University (USA). After his ophthalmology residency in Milan (Italy), he underwent a uveitis and ocular immunology preceptorship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute (University of Miami, USA). He has pursued a two years fellowship at Cole Eye Institute (Cleveland Clinic, USA) in uveitis and ocular inflammations and infections. He has served as Ophthalmology Residency Program director for the past 2 years and has to his credit more than 150 peer-reviewed publications.
